The purpose of the Henderson PTO is to promote the welfare of children and youth in the home, school and community: To bring into closer relationships the home and school in order that parents and teachers cooperate intelligently in the education of the child; and to develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for each child the highest advantage in physical, mental and moral education.

During a school year, Henderson PTO sponsors several events for students, parents teachers and community such as:

  • Eaglefest, the annual school carnival, is held each February.  Eaglefest is a great day filled with games, raffles and prizes for the students and their families.
  • Field Day is held as the end of the school year to help students and teachers celebrate another successful school year
  • PTO organizes School Spirit Events like Henderson Day at the St. Louis Cardinals
  • Market Day all proceeds help fund the technology purchases

PTO is a non-profit organization, any donations we receive are indeed tax deductions for the individual who makes the contribution.

Those who donate by check would have their cancelled check as receipt for their records and those who pay by cash we can give you a receipt.  If you wish to make a donation to Henderson Elementary PTO at any time please contact Tiffany Smith or Wendy Taylor.
